As of today, our district sticker count is 4,699,563! That is an average of 5,081 stickers per team. Get this…since we have begun the First in Math program, our students have solved an estimated 14,098,689 math problems!!! Don't forget to continue practicing during the holiday break. Can't wait to see LRSD students hit and exceed the 5,000,000 sticker mark over the holidays!

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes recently honored Coach Bernie Cox, retiring head football coach at Central High School, for his 35 seasons as the head coach, seven state championships, and over 270 wins in a long successful career.
This award will be presented to a head football coach from a school in Central Arkansas each year in Coach Cox's honor.
Aaron Miller, a 2nd grade student at Wilson Elementary, recently was recognized by his school for scoring in the top 10 percent in the country on the Noetic Learning math test. Wilson has never had a student score this high on the test before according to principal Beverly Jones. "Considering this is a math achievement test, we anticipate students to score at least proficient on the Benchmark Exam," she said.
Honorable Mention on the Noetic Learning test went to Jade Walker, Shannon Brewer, Ahtsiri Soldana, Andrianna Allen, Courtney Woods, Alexis Pettis and Cameron Jones.
